Synopsis: Harker’s Gold

Charles Harker returns to America after fighting in Western Europe and buys a small cabin in the remote New Hampshire wilderness. After a lifetime of serving in the US Army and years of combat during the Second World War, all Harker wants is peace, quiet, and the freedom to live a life that is ungoverened by other people. But when some disreputable locals begin to wonder how Harker was able to buy the cabin, and where all his money comes from, he finds himself in a new kind of conflict, one where the rules of engagement make victory far from certain.
